| Rocksliders arrived today. Also, swung by the ford dealership, my shock towers arrived today so i can outboard my rear shocks for more stability and articulation: heres what it should all look like when complete and after Ive cut into my frame Also ordered up two new rear spring perches from Jeep so I can relocate the rear springs to a more up and down travel, and to avoid coil spring binding. Hoping to improve on the original jeep design | |

| still waiting for the spoon cf lip but installed the Si one for now, installed bumper, put the wheels on and got the ride height even(or as close as I could using a breaker bar for measurement.) First time it's seen the ground since the day I drove it home. | |

when is it expected to be on the street its getting done at wheatons there taking good care of it. Pushing it around the shop haha, also hopefully by the end of June. It might be on the back burner once i get it back since I won't have time for it as I use to. This car might be one of those year projects, its been 7 months and its still not on the streets. | get her home today, source a short block or the needed internals, swap it, dump it, drift slut .
Haha not sure on full plans really, i just wanted something i can bag around in and not be afraid to put into a wall like my mustang, i also kinda just wanted a bit of a project to learn some more technical stuff, i have not done allot of engine internals and swapping motors/etc and would like to learn some more so i figured this would be a good starting project. And it was a pretty smoking price for a RHD S14 with a DET.

| Starting to make some headway on the '72, swapped the old shitty front drum brake for some disk brakes from a '76, all thats left on the swap is to change the master cylinder and brake booster then bleed the brakes. sand blasted and painted the stock steel wheel and installed some smaller tires i found out back of the shop lol. had to order upper and lower ball joints for a '76 as the spindles from a '76 have slightly larger holes in them than a '72, so once they show up ill install the new rotors and pads for the front. Cleaned the carb a couple weeks ago and had the tank sent out to be cleaned and relined, and cleaned the fuel lines. install all of that and had it running for a bit. thought i had to the carb back off to clean some more gunk out of it that came out of the fuel pump. carb will be going back on either tonight or tomorrow and then it should be running and driving once everything else shows up. after that ill be putting in the lowering block and u-bolt for the rear and cutting the coil in the front. slowly but surely its coming together. | |
