| I would use a relay if I wasn't planning on fixing the issue properly in the near future, the hardest part for me is remembering to bring a test light home from work lol. | |

I put in a 300w heater and used a relay harness I had gotten with something (fog lights I think), anyways it was rated at 30amp, and my heater was going to draw a continuous 20-22amps. First time I used for more then 20mins, bam stops working. I peel the split loom back, and the main power wire had melted. It was thick on the outside, Like a 12g wire should be, but it was all casing, it was wicked thin on the inside like a 18g wire or maybe smaller. SO be careful with that, some cheap Chinese shit out there in the wiring world, could have burnt my fucking car down. Luckily I had a fuse on it,(30amp fuse, so of course it didn't blow at the constant 20amp draw until the wire had melted right through and dead shorted out) but it had even started to melt the fuse holder.. swapped it out for Princess auto 12g primary wire, which I'm sure is from China too, but is actually the wire size it's advertised to be.

| Done a few things over the past few days to both cars MustangFinally changed out to AMS XL 5W30 synthetic and AMS Oil EA filter(Had Mobil 1 synthetic before) Purchased 4 new tires, 255/35/20 Venezias, just cheap units Had wheels arrive after almost a month of waiting, only to find out one is damaged, will be sorting this out tomorrow. Silvia
gave the interior a 10 hour clean, this car was beyond disgusting, drugs and diseases everywhere, but it cleaned up well also removed the front bumper, popped the dent out, and going to begin sanding it and the hood, in preperation for either a vinyl wrap or paint, either way it will be black to match the car. also purchased a longblock and transmission to replace my current in car one that has a spun rod bearing, the transmission has a B & M short throw but has shot synchros(from the shifter i am guessing since thats a common issues) but it was free so i took it to sell the shifter. The longblock had good compression cold on all cylinders, was complete minus turbo and exhaust manifold( had a power enterprise unit on it but the guy wanted to keep it) got home and looked closer, realized i got some Denso 550cc injectors with it, SCORE! going to order up some seals and possibly a clutch tomorrow and begin to prep for the swap. Thats all for now!

| MUSTANG
test fit the 2 of 4 wheels I have for the mustang, def really aggressive, which I knew ordering them, as they only come in one offset.
going to take them down to Calgary wheel and see if they can machine some off the inside hub to bring it in just a little, I can currently fit them but I would have to raise my car some, and who wants to do that?
SILVIA
Swapped intake manifolds from car to motor I bought on stand, because the one on the stand had a bent cable assembly and a chip on the edge where the piping mounts.
I also swapped over fuel rails and injector harnesses because the engine I bought came with 550cc Denso injectors and the car is just tuned for the stock 370s so until i get everything sorted out I will run stock injectors then switch to the 550s and retune.
Also took off a bunch of basic stuff from the car in preparation for pulling the engine this week/weekend to drop the new unit in.
Thats all for now:) | |

| I just got them aimed recently, so I havent had a chance to use them luch. I realy enjoy the fact that they can go from a flood light to a pencil beam just by rotating them.
And the fact that they are literally bulletproof, is always a plus

| finally got to working on this thing again. Brought it into the shop after work friday and dove head first into it, go the rear blocks and u-bolts in and got the front wheel to fit, took a bit of grinding and some 8mm wheel spacers, but the result was worth the work. on saturday i did the front end work, cut the coils, changed both the upper and lower ball joints and outer tie rods, and bled the brakes. All that is left is to get it running and adjust the rear brakes and shes a driving unit. CANT WAIT!! | |

| well over the last few days the Silvia has been progressing nicely. got the engine tore out, everything from one block to the other swapped out, in the process I also installed new OEM front/rear main seals and OEM exhaust manifold gasket. I also resealed the oil pan with some fresh Ultra Grey RTV then got the the transmission, greased everything up and replaced the release bearing with a new Koyo unit, and the rear seal on the tranny with a Moog replacement as it was leaking. mm Fresh fluids once i get her back in! Also got to have some fun ripping stuff out, i removed the AIV/EVAP Canister and plugged appropriate lines, as well as removed all AC components. And at last removed my sidemount intercooler setup and fender liners to make room for my new HKS Front Mount setup. cut some brackets off and remounted my horns in a different spot to make room for the FMIC, quick mockup Just waiting on my Spec Stage 3 6 puck and Aluminum Flywheel from Jesse tomorrow and i will be throwing it all back in starting tomorrow night! S chassis Heaven, or graveyard? | |
