| Started cleaning the Carb today after work. Should be clean and put back together tomorrow at some point haha. The Tank is back from bast all cleaned up and relined. hell they even painted it black! All i need to do now is clean out the fuel lines, bolt everything back up into place and then fire that bitch up!
Still looking for front brake parts, decided to scrape the front drum brakes and go for that nice front disk brake approach. All i need is the spindles, hubs, caliper, rotor pads, and brake master cylinder from a 76 to like 84 2wd toyota pickup. im told it just bolts right in! So if you know of anyone, or you are that person, that has a 76-84 2wd toyota pickup that is willing to sell the front end parts, HOOK ME UPPPPP!!! haha

| I run a 55hp jetting.
And I highly recommend it, you actually get quite a bit of spray time out of a bottle. What people don't know about nitrous is the advertised jetting is at peak hp curve, so say if it's rated 260hp @ 7000rpm, that's where the +50hp will be, @7000rpm. If the bottle pressure is right (must be hot), they always add at least the jetting hp (at the wheels). But under the peak hp RPM, it builds big torque. Like a 100 ft/lbs gain at say 3000rpm on a 55hp jetting is not uncommon. A guy with the same engine as me put down just over 300ft/lbs at 3000rpm on a 40hp jetting. That's when I knew I wanted it.
Also if you are boosted, Nitrous comes out the nozzle at -88c, so the intercooling effect is massive Gains are often larger then the advertised jetting on forced induction cars. In fact on my car being supercharged. it has no boost control other then RPM really (as in no vacuum reference like a turbo wastegate) I see a +2psi jump when on spray. I don't think you would get this on a turbo, since the wastegate would just compensate for it. But I suspect it's from the cold air/increased density
As far as being dangerous, no not really. As long as you add the correct amount of fuel to go with it. You wouldn't run 20psi on a 10psi fueling, same diff.
Nitrous is 35% oxygen, and the rest is Nitrogen. The air we breathe is 20% oxygen and the rest is nitrogen (and dirt, and other pollutants).

| No window switch or timing retard. I use a WOT fail safe, and I just use a manual button and spray when I want it. (Thumb Horn buttons on OEM VW steering wheel, how cliche is that?) Never spray in 1st gear (Can't even go WOT in 1st anyway, yaaa FWD ) and rarely 2nd gear, depends how well it's hooking up that night. I would like a progressive controller though, then I could jet it up more. Bring it in as a 50hp @ 3000rpm and then slowly ramp it up to 75-100 at redline. | |

| Tore the jeep apart this morning: Replaced the factory plugs(worn down to .07 gap) with .035 plugs tore apart the front suspension to upgrade to heavy duty tie rod end on the drag link to pitman arm. Removed all gr3-5 hardware, drilled out the holes bigger to run larger diameter Gr.8 hardware in the front suspension. Removed my crusher corners to paint them place, replainted flares to revive the sunfade. Designed and installed a hand throttle mounted to the shifter. Mapped out a place for my LED rock lights in the fenderwells. Hoping to correct my rear pinion angle to help with some wibrations Ive been running into at WOT.
Brought the 2J bmw from pilot butte to my house. Need two new rear tires...

| pretty much has all the basics covered, nothing too elaborate; 18psi boost, FMIC, exhaust, oil filter relocate/cooler, skyline rear diff, Coilovers(with a very smooth ride), adjustable suspension arms all in a car that weighs a couple hundred pounds less than a comparibly equipped supra, all while maintaining a high quality ride and full leather... My dad has spent a good deal of time getting everything sorted out that the PO owner missed/forgot to do, and has made the car much more reliable/driveable/safer. Its nothing too special considering what most people have been doing now, but in its time, it was pretty crazy, and from what we've gathered on the build thread of it started many years ago, it was the first/only one in north america when it was done. its also for sale, as my dad wants to cut down on the vehilces he currently owns, so for a fraction of what you can get a 2J supra for(asking $6700), you can have the best of both worlds with this car. | |

Not any more. For now the H22 is sitting the garage. Maybe I will build it for NA in the future if I don't sell it.

| just ordered a set of these bad boys to make getting into the jeep a little easier, as well as adding side protection to the vehicle when sliding off obsticles! as a bonus they can be used as a jacking point Hoping to have time this weekend to design and pick up maketials for a engine/tranny skid plate out of aluminum, should be the perfect oppertunity to practice my tig welding. If all goes well, Ill be making a "tummy-tuck" transfer case skid plate for it after | |
