| i did 2 pulls on august 8th last summer. but the photo sensors in the distributor were giving the dyno speratic spark signals and he was having issues dialing it in. so i went home and changed my distributor and gotta install my MSD 6AL, and should clear up my wierd spark signals. but those where the numbers it pulled amidst all the crazy signals. so i never got a sheet, and i never paid for either. BUT they did offer me a new job when they get there new shop built.... for the new engine its getting dyno'd at ABS. fucking chassis dyno's r BS. and my +20 degree cam timing prolly didnt help me at all power wise. im getting a new cam and sprocket and gonna re-time the bitch back to 0 where it should be and take it back to dyno to see what it'll do. im hopping 185+ hp and 210+ ft.lbs./tq with a mild cam | |

For someone with 4 times what their cars worth into their engine I would have expected alittle more than that... JYB's stock SR20 had more hp than that.

I am pretty sure he has one even pictured in this thread.

| Thats fine maybe i shoulda said if he had a running engine in his car sorry ,
i just dont see regardless if its all just playful banter that every god danm thread must turn into a beak show about other peoples cars, as a example of course if he wants to spend that much money on his car than let him it doesnt affect anyone of us if he enjoys doing it than so be it, and its not just for this thread its for lots

| well, he has also done something unique with his 240sx. And still, everyone wants the power, but really, I am a firm believer that most do not need it/cannot handel it.
Look at how much money I have into my BMW, Corey. I stop counting at 16,000. For that price I could have a used 350Z or some RHD rocket that come preassembled and is still tuned for 98 octane. yet, I still continue to sink money into it, and I would be lucky to have 170hp at the wheels. For some people its about doing something unique.
And Cam, its a car forum full of "mostly" teenagers, and "few" know anything about cars, except that the right peddal makes the car go faster, what do you expect.

| lol i built my NA for 1200 bucks when i was high school lol. how is that worth 4 times my car? now im building a good engine because damn near everything else has been replaced so it wont brake with added power and stresses.
ya i bugged you for ur chassis because u pussy'd out and wanted o quit. Y let another decently clean chassis get crushed because you can't handle the work involved? lol
and i wanted to see what i could get out of a mildly bult NA. a 200hp NA 4cylinder is pretty fucking good, specially with no variable cam crap.
