| I've read that the dinan chip for these thins does wonders! Any idea what you plan to do for the exhaust? make it silent when cruising, but roar when you tromp on it? They sound amazing when you put on a baffled resonator that you can get from minute muffler(use them in place of a muffler). I get nothing but compliments with them on my BMW. They sound great on the straight six. Oh, and they aren't boomy on the highway Ask Corey or Jason, or anyone who has heard my new engine. | |

| Cool I'll keep that in mind. My original design was going to be a Magnaflow BMW twin cat(dual 2" to match oem), dual 2" to single 2.5" 5x7 muffler and then a 2.5 resonator at the back. All straight through design. BTW how is the Merk comming? Rolling up the boost yet? | |

| Well, I kept my factory cat in there to save on cost(and the cat was brand new). I would definatley recomend keeping a cat in there becasue if you don't, it makes it really raspy. Plus, the resonator I mentioned were only $50 a piece. And the Merk is great. I've got heat(well some), I found that a new boost controller fixed my lack of boost, and its been great so far. I'm keeping the boost at 15-16psi with the knock sensor disconnected and 94 octane, but I plan to adjust it up to about 17psi(and probably plug the knock sensor back in) and keep it there come spring time. I've got a new set of bucket seats that are probably going in there if I feel up to making mounts. But so far its been great, and still loving all the stares I get when people see it. | |
