cop pulls you over for no reason at all.... issues you a VI that you have 30days to do... but now since the gov't has told the inspectors " RHD are auto-fail" you will get 2 responses from DIF's 1) we dont inspect RHD 2) sorry you failed, now pay the inspection fee...

Thats what I was afraid of, based on seemly nothing, a ban that came out of no where screws how many people over. I feel for all the people that have bought cars but haven't received them yet, and the dealers that will heavily be effected by this.

To me this feels completely unfair especially how if it comes here, then I get pulled over and have to take my car in and it fails what will I do with the car? There is no one to sell it to.

well people parting JDM cars on ebay will be in abundance is a posotive side...but still this sucks nonetheless

don't worry talked to my contact in japan he told me that sask use's RHD drive for safety for the parking meter, and he heard a roamer at his shop that sask, police force might be getting RHD cars for there crusiers instead of using the ford crown vic...(safety reason's when cops pull us over they get out and not have to face being killed by oncoming driver's)

The reason they have CONTINUTED to use crown vics for police duty is that they have made heavy duty parts for them. All heavy duty bushing, ball joints, suspension doo-dads and what not.
And where will they put the bad-guys? ask them politley to duck their heads as they try to crawl into the back seat?

The city of saskatoon uses RHD mitsubishi pajero or whatevers as a parking enforement.

not saying supra's maybe 4 door skylines and might only be a few for the highway...plus... parts, well thats easy shiiped here on plane cheap, last year my GTS-4 head gasket blow i rushed one down from japan in one week 5 days to be exact and the cost $135 CDN

Those mitsubishi pajero guess how much sask goverment gets them for 3 to 5 G's that's nothing for us 7 to 9 G's and you 11 G's , like someone said in the other forum they are pretty much giving these cars away because they have to.
