same type of thing on ricers, but i believe the majority of that forum was early 20's?

take a look at 306 for example. The higher majority of people on there are in there 30's i think? Do they have banning, and mods deleting posts, and fighting? Of course. But to the level of this forum? No

Normally when you have a forum that brings in people from the same LOCATION, not a specific type of vehicle (like my hilux surf forums) you get a lot more conflicts and fighting and idiots. Now because this is a majority of younger people, it makes things even worse. when you have a forum that is vehicle specific, you have less immaturity, and more useful threads, posts, let alone members.

when you guys made this forum, what did you really think was going to happen? Im sure it started out great because it was mostly everyone knew everyone and alot of people didnt want to make an ass of themselves. Now alot more people are more "comfortable" here and can lip off a bit more and feel like their seniority will back them up.

Dont try to manipulate your forum into what you want it to be, it will only piss people off.

Wow. Seriously exaggerated the point on that one. But sort of, I guess? It's too keep this forums from being known as the one where kids go around picking up 17 year old yadda yadda etc etc. Let me put it this way --

I don't think anyone was banned for these reasons. We just try to promote proper spelling and grammar LIKE ANY OTHER FORUM as forums are based 95% on literature. It's easier to read well constructed sentences then to read some shit that's all over the place. There's no banning that's done to people who slip up on punctuation, etc. Like half of what Jordan says, for example. I don't understand it. I've personally just accepted him for who he is, but he has the decency to appologize when need be, and I can actually appreciate that. We just advise proper literature, but we don't "enforce" it. As for your other points, that's fine, but to have EVERY SINGLE THREAD go to shit? Come on. What would you suggest then, Robert? Let every single thread turn to shit? Have people realise that it's not worth posting on this forum and not come back anyway? Get real.

Okay, and where are you going with this? Do you even know how many people are banned? It's actually not that manny. We go around joking about banning people, but seriously, it's not even that many. The only thing that would exceed the "level" on this forum is the fighting. Again though, should it just be accepted? Should every member run rampant? Should there constantly be disarray? Chaos? A foot has to be put down somewhere, but it's not going to be everywhere. I will get this out right now, I do enjoy a good beaking thread. They are fun. I just don't need it in every single thread.

I appreciate your comments, Bert. Just try and see it from our perspective. Yes, we realise that people will argue, it is in our nature, we are just trying to not let it disturb the flow of the forum as much as it does. Also, I've already heard of authorities eyeing down these kinds of forums and having interviews with the admins when something goes wrong when they think it started off the forum. I have a friend who I suggested to sign up on here and the response I got was "Oh, yeah, my dad told me about that site". His dad is an RCMP officer.
