I'm most amazed that the engine does not move in the engine bay at all. Must be just straight solid mounts on engine and transmission. I bet you can feel that tingle on your bum!

So has this car ever been down a 1/4 mile?

ANSWER!!.....Yup! Remember this thing weighs only 2500lbs..... The w58 in a 4000lb supra suffers abit.


Aussis use the w58 alot in their drag 13b setups and they hold up great... And I have put 850 through a t2 trans..... And the w58 is much stronger and the input shaft is quite a bit larger...

I get the same reaction from alot of people and what we have done with factory equipment shows that oem trans with the right clutch can do the job!

i guess with your budget destroying a couple cheap transmissions in a year isnt a big deal. my w58 lasted about a season of abuse in 3000lbs car with 200hp.
