Speeding Ticket :(

Yeah, as soon as i saw the cop car (easy to recognize cause someone i know drives one) i slammed on the brakes, i must have been at LEAST a block away, maybe two even. No way he could've seen how fast i was going cause we were in adjacent lanes. :/

well if he has instant on laser your pretty much fucked. But just fight the ticket take it to court ask to see the calibration record for the radar or laser that he used and most times they do not calibrate it when they should and bam ticket is lowered alot or waived. Also ask to see the radar gun showing the speed he clocked you at can't give you a ticket if he doesn't just ask. Got me out of a ticket

One time they caught me flying down the one ramp onto vic from ring road at 140km/h(its a 70km/h apparently). I asked the lady officer to see teh gun and she said it was a laser and that it was already off teh laser gun but still gave me the ticket? So I don't know how that would have worked? But I gota call teh next evening saying to rip up the ticket becasue the gun was experiencing problems and they would have to re-calibrate it? Lucky me I guess. So what is the actual deal with that, if they don't show you the radar/laser, they can't give you a ticket? I would like to know the real truth behind this?
