| there is not much that you can physically do to your intake. however if you were a professional machine shop and good at custom work i would say get it extrude honed. but your not so either pay to get work done, or buy new parts. I can't think of many decent mods for a N/A engine, had it been turbo i could have given some... | |

| He doesn't have V-tech. And I wouldn't bother with a port/polish. I took my intake to work today to get ported/polished, as well I ported the throttle body and increased the size of the throttle butterfly. I was told to pretty much expect no gains from all of this. Truth be told its usually the head that turns out to be the restriction on most car. and without porting the head, you usually acomplish nothing. But then I'm comparing apples to oranges, anything you do to a honda seems to make a difference.. And weren't you more focused on the asthetics of your car just last week? If you want a noticable increase, get yourself a chip, and a proper cold-air intake that sucks air from under your front bumper or something, they'll be the cheapest gains you can get. | |

| Don't polish your intake, smooth surfaces cause fuel puddling and youl run into issues with hesitation. A little rougher is better on the intake side as it promotes fuel atomization. | |

| save your money, doesnt matter how much you try and polish a turd, its a still a turd, every dollar you waste trying to do stuff for little gain, is a dollar away from real power, its been proven time and time again, there is no replacement for displace ment, and thats a fact, dealing with your small displacement motors like honda you can spend 10 grand doing N/A work and be lucky if you make over 200hp, so small displacement motors deffinatley benifit greatly from forced induction, end of story. | |

| ^Then I'd consider painting it the same colour as the rest of your car. Ther is nothing worse than showing up, popping the hood, and having it not match the rest of your car. | |

| just spend your money on regular maintence then, timing belt water pump, brakes, suspension, axles, stuff like that, get a mechanic to go over your car that way you dont spend your money on some sweet home depot piping and a light up airfilter, and then the next day your timing belt snappes or axle shitts the bed | |

Do it cam! Becasue I don't want to hear about it. Just worry about making the outside look nice. Go get yourself a shiny proper cold air, that'll spruce it up a bit if thats what your concerned about. | |
