Capped totally sealed it off? Or still slowly leaking, but stopped the majority?

relief wells are still being drilled, seismic monitoring is also being done on the floor of the ocean to make sure nothing comes up and they are opening this cap every so often to release some of the precious and prevent something going wrong.

in the meantime they are bring boats in with proper supplies to fill the well in permanently
