I just can't understand why you would spend 7000 to gain 60 HP. If you want to track it use a supercharger. No-lag, and if you don't run a ton of boost your reliability won't be terrible. It's much cheaper, you'll get more power too. CHECK OUT THAT SUPERCHARGED CIVIC BUILD. I think for what you want, that would be the best. Unless you were going full out, a K20a swap is a huge waste of your money. Basically you're paying $116.67 for one horsepower if you go that route. I'm not sure how much that civic cost to supercharge but I doubt it was 7 grand. Probably not even half that.

| They claim an 80 HP gain (4 inch pulley @ 8 psi). Thats already more power than your K20a for less than half the price. Leaving you lots of money to beef up other parts of your car to be able to withstand the extra power. | |

| Brakes, Better tires. You might need to look into a better rad/cooling system for stop and go traffic (it might run hot). Ummmmmm I don't know what you would want for exhaust with a supercharger. Is it like a turbo where you just want it to be a lot bigger than stock (not overboard though), like 2.5 inches? Then you should probably look at getting a better clutch.
This of course would all come after upgrading your fuel system as robby said and get a tune.

good luck with the purchase.... i dont think i ever seen you before or your car so you should post some pics of it... id like to see what you drive... i'm assuming it is a silver SiR... 2003. I've never seen it either. Budget-wise, supercharger is better... TypeR would have been sweet though, plus turbo! =D
