dispose engine oil

i have 3 pails of engine oil where can i throw it away at

cook with it.

I know the canadian tire on north albert disposes of it. I assume the other canadian tires would do the same.

Yeah, they've got that nice little disposal area on the North side of the building.

thaikun lives in the north end so i thought that he'd mention where the north end's oil bin is.

I walk up and down my back alley pouring it out. Give it a nice good coat. Keeps the dust down.

if you do it with coolant, it keeps the neighborhood cat population down.

haha i would do that but.. i'm the only one in the area that works on cars... so instantly baited out.

weird. I have dropped off oil late into the night before at Canadian Tire north... wasnt locked up. If its locked up, set the jug outside of it on the ground on the side. They will take care of it.

And thats a good thing. It took care of a stray cat that would always sleep on my hood and actually made a huge scratch down the driver's side of it. Needless to say, no more cat. I know I know, I'm going to Hell.

all mr.lubes and every oil change place takes used oil (many places use it as heating oil in the winter

Any oil change center should have something to take care of it for you.
