| Okay, I cannot decide whether or not to stick with the clutch fan or run a daul electric fan setup off of a 93-97 altima on my s13. All over the web people will argue each cooling option and I just want the best, seeing as this car will see a fair bit of track use.
So shine away with your expertise.

| I don't know anything about either or but if they are disputed so much on specialty forums they must be pretty close so either or would be a good choice? | |

| Well it depends on how many CFM's the dual electirc flow VS. haw many CFMs the factory one flows. In the effort to save money, the clutch one worked from the factory and has worked for how many years? Neither will work very well if you do not have fan shroud on that radiator.
I took off the clutch one when I still had a 4 cyl in my BMW and jsut ran an electric on a temp switch. I noticed almost no measurable difference, I'd say keep the factory one unless you have money burning a hole in your pocket

| My car had the clutch fan, I ended up getting twin electric fans as one day at the track, under hard braking, the rb tilted foreward and put the clutch fan through the rad. | |

Did your car come with A/C from teh factoy? if so, the condensor probably has an electric fan in front of it to help cool it down. Take that fan off, and slap it infront of your radiator, then hook a switch to it. either a temp switch, or a manual switch. That way you can have extra cooling when you need it(like stuck in traffic on a hot day, or when you want to cool your car down at the track. I did that to mine, and hooked it up infront of my oil cooler and in front of my rad and it definately drops oil temps noticably and it does a good job of dropping the water temps
