PostSubject: What car(s) to look for?   What car(s) to look for? Icon_minitimeOctober 14th 2008, 7:59 pm

Sometime around spring im going to be looking for a car to replace my current daily driver. Just want some suggestions as to what I should look for. I know this might sound stupid, but im id like something fwd or awd because i would drive it all year round. I was thinking about getting an imported hilux but decided against it. I wanna spend around 10, 15 at most.

So many pros n cons to everything its hard to choose

Some cars that come to mind right now are:
cobalt s/c
jetta 1.8T
audi a4

Not sure if its up your alley, but I'm going to be selling both cars in spring so I can buy my new project. one is a 2002 civic si-r with 100,000km, and the other is my 92 lancer evo with 70,000km. Both will be around the 10k range.

can't speak for the other carsto much, cobalt s/c will be somewhat rare as they only made them for a few years, civics are usually pretty good DD's. As for the jetta, depending on the KM's you may want to ask about the timing belt. It should be done at around 110,000 KM's along with the tensioner and water pump i think a dealership charges around 600 or 700 bucks total to do it.

That thing is awd, 4 door, cute looking and littered with hyundai emblems.
May I ask what more you would want out of a car?
