Subject: Ceramic Brake Pads.. August 16th 2008, 6:35 pm
Okay on my car i got lots of pad left, but yet when i brake at say a light, it squeeks really bad.. now is it because they are ceramic, ive heard thats why but i just wanna make sure, cause if they are then im gonna go get new pads.

my ceramic stop pads didnt squeak. but my 20 dollar cheap metal pads didnt either.

stops crazier.
90% pad life left.
wouldnt trade it for anything.

go out and abuse the breaks. Go onto the highway(at whatever speed you desire) and do a few hard brake checks. Chances are your rotors might just be glazed up. That may not be the case, but give it a try.
