exactly it doesn't matter what anyone thinks, its what can be proven, guess what, you admitted to using a electronic communication device while driving, that is what you are being fined for, that is the proof they need to convict you with. and if they don't get you with the "cell phone ticket", they sure as hell can you with driving without due care and attention. (that can also apply for hand help music players such as mp3 payers and ipods.)

But honestly, you guys missed the point of this. Obviously I'm chapped I got a ticket, and obviously I got caught doing it. Obviously I'm gonna try to find a way around it because no one wants to fuck with $280 or 4 points off. Worst case scenario: I pay the ticket, which I would have had to anyways.. And like Jordan said way back, I'm waay less likely to text and drive now, shit sucks. I'll let you know what happens in court, but more bitching isn't gonna solve much since I don't gave 2 shits..
