| jokes golks... we dont all drive odyessy' haha... i dont know anyone with a somewhat decent gas mileage vehicle or something with enough passenger room to make it worth while (Rukus' do not count ) .... so I guess it depends if you guys have someone you know thats got a van or something then ya I could def see it being cheaper that way.. but if you dont your stuck flying like we are... and like zimmz said just watch for seat sales... i think last year we paid like roughly 6-700 for flights each and the $1,000 hotels room. So if you factor roughly 2g for flights and hotel your good there.. I know I also budgeted last year $100/day for food/drink (wont spend it all but gives you lee way if you are feeling a $45 burger) which i am right now *droool* ..... then take extra spending money like $500-$1000 should be lots.. i took like $400 spending and did alright this year im taking more. | |

there is no way i expect to spend 3 grand, not even 2 grand. just taking a quick look for flights i can see multiple flights at that 400-450 range. i mainly want to drive just because i can fly anywhere, and having a vehicle down there would be nice. plus driving doesn't bother me, i do it 8 hours a day most days in a week for my job. haha i am actually driving right now as i type this, i love double lanes and tethered data:)

| The last thing anybody on this forum needs is people bragging about going SEMA. I am going for content and press conferences. Long days and lots of walking. It is fun though if that is your scene. | |

the last thing anybody needs? i can think of many other things that come before bragging about SEMA, which no one is doing so i am not sure where you got that from. Good to see your going for content and press conferences. I am going to network with my products suppliers and build relationships. That does not mean i don't want to get other people excited about SEMA for other reasons than what i am going for, so i can in turn get more people to come. As far as i am concerned bump this fucking thread as much as possible to get more people thinking about SEMA.

| Not you Dustin, I just remember last year it caused some animosity. Also, Cam I thought you were taking a step back from the scene?
It is fun for me but still a lot of work. Nobody said I didn't like doing it. Also, is everyone's scene on here? Really? So Cam, drifting is your scene? I seem to remember you calling it boring.
I would probably rather go to round 1 in Long Beach, but it just doesn't make sense at all. Also, did I say it was stressful?
Car shows aren't for everyone Cam, stop being simple.

Marshal, Corey, Myself. Home Reno is just as fun as cars.....umm well ok, no. Not really, not at all. But chicks dig it! Actually thinking about it, no they don't! WTF is going on here, I need a lifestyle shift!? I'd love to go to SEMA, but I've banned from the states.

anyone that does a small amount of research on SEMA knows they can get passed pretty easy, who doesn't know someone with a automotive company that's willing to get them passes, if they don't. PM me and i will help out.

youve gotten grumpy in your old age.. gramps agreed. and who felt animosity? if so they need to harden the fuck up, what has this forum turned into? the friendly sandbox on the playground? because that's not what i remember it as.
