My car supposedly according to sgis computer will never be registered in sask as it is a total loss in BC according to their computer so they want to write off my car, this is just fuckin great after all that time and money and this BC thing never showed up in the vin search this is BULLSHIT im so pissed

I thought you had it plated? If its up to spec dont you just have to pass Sask safety like you did and be on your way?

He had the Mechanical Inspection done, If the car comes back a TL it will need to also have a structural inspection before it can be plated.

I guess this is the reason for the alignment issues?

It cant be the reason tho, cause first this guys had itplated and registered in manitoba right up until i bought it, second how could it be totalled in british columbia when i bought it in winnipeg, and even if it was totalled that means the previous owner wouldnt have been able to plate it, and also why didnt this come up in the searches i had done.

I am no claims adjuster of insurance issuer, but your right it does seem odd. Anyway, jump through some of the hoops and talk to the right people. When I first took my car to SGI they refused to believe that the Japanese VIN could be different than the NA one. I managed to get ahold of someone who knew their shit eventually.

You might have something with the fact that it was plated elsewhere, otherwise if the car was a TL want needs to be done for it to be certified?
