| ok i cant get these damn things to turn on. this is how I wired it but I also have the green fan trigger hooked up to a second relay for the other fan So where im at right now I know the wiring is correct because when I ground out the Fan Trigger(#85) the fan turns on. So its gotta be that the Greddy MSS is either cooked or I dont have it set up properly on the unit. I have both the fans setup to come on at the temperatures i want and when it gets to that temp the little 1 and 2 are comming up on the controller as though the fans should be turning on. So does anyone have any experience with the Greddy Multi Switch that could give me a little advice or does anyone have an extra fan controller they are not using that I can buy or try. I really want to go drive around, im sick of my moms accent. ps. we should have some sort of tech part of this forum cause this seems kinda outta place for the general. Maybe switch the Car Audio to a tech section. Just a thought. | |

| it was already in and when we went to start everything up again this year it now wasnt working and couldnt figure out why so I went looking for some good instructions and could find much but found this. And the way he had it didnt even make sense cause he didnt have the orange wire hooked up to anything and he had no power from the battery so I really dont know how he had it working and why it wont work now so im stumped man. | |

| which wire did you use for the ACC connection at the top and which wire for the 12v constant
and just to be clear, does the unit itsself turn on and the fans wont come on at the set temp, or the unit doesnt work at all

It shows on the controller that they should be at that temp but there is nothing. and I have the acc going to 86 and the 12v constant to the 87

| well i unno i have to think its the controller cause like I said before. When i ground out the 85(fan trigger) it turns the fan on so that mean the relay is set up correctly. Cause when the motor heats up to the temps I have it set to turn the fan on it should ground the 85(fan trigger) completing the circut and turning the fan on.
mayb i fucked something up in the controller when i was messing with the wires, who knows.

| If you can ground terminal #85 and the fans turn on then your wiring is right. What you need to find out is if it is being grounded by the controller when it's on, a logic light would have solved this in about 1 minute. | |

yes thats what i was trying to explain I already did. Its not grounding out by the controller so for now i just put a permanent ground so I can drive the car but right now im puttin in another controller anyways. Im gunna get a guy at my work (instrumentation tech to take a look at my mss)
