k so i have a 1986 golf that i am going to start using as my daily driver, i plan to lower it, wheels and a bit of stereo. Nothing special, its old and its just a daily, But i still want it to look ballin. Now im thinking of getting ebay coilovers for like 70 bucks... I know I know but i am not looking for any performance, i just want it low and i don't want to spend a lot of money on this car, i still am buying things for the miata after all. Opinions?

Go for it dude. If you slam it its gotta have a roof rack.

I second the roof rack.
I'm not a big fan or the ebay coils. I've heard less than appealing things. But I say do it. Make sure you upgrade the shocks, or your going to be bouncing around.
Is it 8V or 16V?

There are so much you can do to these for cheap cheap. I wanna see how it turns out

okay so im actually really excited now lol because i just bought these off of concept 1's website (awesome vw store/shop in calgary)



i asked the guy how low they can go and says, "you can set the frame on the ground..." haha

now thats left is a bit of stereo, steering wheel, shift knob and maybe seats. if anyone has those things and wants to get rid of themlet me know ha

oh and i have some wheels i might use, but anybody let me know if they have some wheels they don't want. Preferably 13 - 15, good offset and 4x100

There are a set of new AK's on usedregina even if you pay the same price you could get them alot quicker probably.

shoot, too late. They said they ship within 48 hours, and its only from calgary, so it shouldn't be too bad. Im not really in any rush either
