Oh definately, taking an S2000 in a straight line is incredibly easy, but where it loses that speed it makes up for it balance and cornering ability. Also keep in mind, it's a 2.0L engine from 2000 producing 240hp from the factory without the use of a turbo or supercharger. I know the Cobalt SS turbo has 260hp on a 2.0L engine, but that's with a turbocharger, not to mention that it was JUST released, compared to my car which is 9 years old.

Not to bash any, I <3 s2000's. But I don't think what the s2000 lacks in straight line speed it would gain against an SS, they also handle amazingly. But it makes up for that in the looks department I'd say, and the awesomeness category.
