PostSubject: Removing decals   Removing decals Icon_minitimeFebruary 14th 2008, 1:41 pm

Okay so I've been hasseling JP to remove that huge eye sore Dilawri badge/decal off his car for awhile now and decided to share a technique of how to remove properly.

1. First of all wash the vehicle(its always good to be working on a clean exterior)
2. Round up a heatgun and plastic blade(or something that will not damage the paint)
3. Work in sections, last thing you want to do is try and tackle the whole decal at once.
4. Over the area apply heat evenly, then use Plastic blade peel edges up and go from there.
5. Once finished go over area with a residue remover(body prep)
6. Wash the area

Keep in mind let the heat do the work, and take your time!

I dont know about you guys, but i HATE floor mats. Especially the winter ones because my floot always gets wedged into the grooves when i let out the clutch and pisses me off.

8$ Walmart Summer carpet mats FTW!

Just take a pressure washer and hold it at the side of the decal and blast the fuck out of it.

Hmm has noone taken in account that it'd be considered a weight reduction therefore gaining 45 precious horsies.
