a black one would look badass. It would kinda be like a throw back to the old MkII golfs. Trust me, it would look good, but then again, I'm a fan of the big black grills

i thought so too it will go well with my rims when they're black, im also gonna black out my emblems, and take the GTI badge i took off the back, im painting that black and putting it in the grill, then with a black badgeless, it will be very hard to see but i think i'll like it that way

was thinking that also... unfortunately to do a badgeles properly, and filling the hood notch is about 600$ so marshal had a good idea of just painting stock grill black, then i might just leave the GTI silver, but we'll see how it looks first

Possibly painting the eyelids on your headlights black would match the grill. Would make for a very aggressive lookin front end.
