Whatever wheels are on that Purple G60 are to die for!!1 and 930 Slant OMG J.I.M.P. (well somebody won Lottomax maybe it was me, then I can promplty go out and buy that slant nose an a brand new GT3 RS)

an SLS roadster, i actually think this looks better then the coupe. and i hate convertibles:

Plus why the fuck would you buy an sls if you don't get gullwing doors?

i dunno, i just dont like the roof on the coupe. also gullwing doors are fucking gay.

He drives a roadster.... why do you think he likes the convertible better? The only thing he is high on is himself.

"ruf"?? i think you're talking about those Rauh-Welt (SP?) cars, which i said i liked. But i guess you're illiterate. If you can tell me one thing that you like about gullwing doors other then "its heritage" and its "different/unique" ill completely take it all back. the third and forth point are so very true, and i dunno where the fifth one came from, but i can tell you're pretty choked i made fun of your love for gullwing doors lol.

Gull wing doors are like the icing on the cake for the sls. Just as you would admire a good paint job, or nice wheels, most car enthusiasts can admire the engineering of the gull wing door and how it connects the modern day sls with the icon of the past. Like a chick with a nice rack, gull wing doors are not more functional, but most men, excluding yourself, see what they bring to the table. Basically, the doors along with the overall design are what separate the sls from other cars which match it in performance for a lower cost, and place it in a higher tier altogether. They are something that are only pulled off on a few cars, the sls one of them.

Do you think anybody with an SLS gives a shit what some overly opinionated guy on QCA thinks about his gull wing doors? That cars starts at $210,000 cdn, I'm guessing they have bigger fish to fry.

Gull wings doors are great, as long they are on a SL Merc. (well Brinklin and Delorean can have a pass too ). The original 300SL gull wing doors come strictly out of function not form. The original had a very tall lower door sill to increase chassis rigidity. But combined with that cars very low roof line, it would made conventional doors ridiculous small. Gull wing doors solved the problem for Merc. Admittedly the SLS is more a nod to the past that for any functional purpose, but still it is a homage to the original, and really wouldn't be right with conventional doors.

You can imagine how small a normal door would have been on this car.



Not really the case with the new one.



And since we are talking about modern cars that are a homage to the past.

exactly, i asked you to tell me why gullwing doors are good without saying they are heritage or unique because thats purely dependant on the opinion of someone. Yes you like them, no i do not. Next time you black out and come at me with a bunch of b/s be prepared to answer a question properly.
