| Im thinking about either installing a cross member from a 5 spd XJ ( t case dropped without loss of ground clearance ) or pulling the t case drop out and putting shims in | |

| Well I've a been a bit of a bum so far this winter, most garage time has been doing a few oil changes, and an Acura 3.2 timing belt. But I don't want you to think I've given up on the old VW. Some new parts, some used from local SKdubbers, and some shit I've been sitting on for awhile now. Going to start doing some wiring tonight, hopefully have it worked out soon since it could be an early spring. Not pictured/yet to arrive are a nitrous bottle heater and digital controller. Some of it audio, which I know is not really most people's thing on here. Now the skirts I have had in the rafters for a long, long time. But with the wider, low offset wheels, I think maybe for the first time ever I could (possibly) pull them off. I'm still 50/50 on this. Might put them on, and take them off a week later, who knows. Opinions? | |
