That's bullshit. Now granted that Del Sol is clearly not a finished product. It's just a backyard project done by some guy who has a normal 8-5 job. But it is unique and cool. Maybe one day after the bugs are all worked out, he will turn his attention to the appearance of the car.

But 90% of the cars posted here shouldn't be here. it's pictures of near stock cars hellaflushed out on Work wheels. Add a few rare JDM as fuck carbon fiber body pieces and everybody licks it's balls like it's the greatest thing on the planet. I'm not hatin on anything, but I can find a million pictures of Civics that fit that description, but how many AWD Del Sol's are ou tthere? (really how many non wagovan Civic's are converted to AWD, and then actually driven hard?)

This seems a bit drastic to put it lightely lol.. I mean I own a SIR and idc if this one is modded to a AWD that much cage to me looks just way over done..like i have seen a few pics of caged sols that Ermel show'd me and they look good but this is just too much.. and I agree maybe the body work isnt done but even when it is I cant see this car "living up" to what that cage requires haha.

Man I wish I could find this roof rack.. I even emailed a few companies but no one makes them or they are discontinued never to be made again

unreal... i want one for ice fishing .. id never have to reel in again just run jump in the car and floor it the fish will then become a kite and then that just opens a whole other fun time and flash back of the past

I think that Cage is FIA spec, which is why it look so overkill. But it would be legal in any form of racing (SCCA might frown on that much cage work, but fuck them) and I know that car actually does get raced in various events (but sadly it's proving to be a bit troublesome, too much mish-mash of parts and some compatibility issues leading to premature part failures.)

I love Del Sols though, I steal the keys to my buddy's H22 every chance I get. Top off, VTEC growl, and a low ride Height hells yes! You measure that car in smiles per hour!
