although rig work makes great pay it is hard labor and you may have to travel a bit.

have you ever thought of selling? if your willing to work hard there is SERIOUS money to be made in the current Regina economy.

it costs roughly 4-6g to go get your license to be a real estate agent, you get to set your own hours, live in Regina, and all you have to do is focus and WORK HARD.

also from experience if you don't mind dealing with farmers there is tons of money to be made in the agriculture scene, with plant genetics and advances in agriculture, crops are making leaps and bounds over what they have in previous years and i do honestly believe that agriculture was one of the only markets not hit by the depression...

not sure on your customer service skills/if your a people person, but its definatly an option that doesn't need education, i graduated high school, worked at visions electronics for a year selling tvs and audio and now i sell seed to farmers across western Canada, i get a cushy salary,company truck,credit card,etc and i am home every weekend. to me its pretty awesome

i encourage you to take a look in the sales field, its one field that if you cant perform, education doesn't do you much good.

My moms a people person, me not so much, I dont have the outgoing personality it takes to sell stuff a lot. I'm good with interviews on the plus side. lol. the job hunt starts tomorrow!

ive never heard of an interview for a drilling rig, just show up fill out paper work piss in a cup, and wait for a call.

when i started with tempco, I knew a buddy on a rig that needed a guy, i just showed up with a blank check and my gear and started working that day.

Im guessing since they need someone on their rig outside of weyburn and their making me drive to estevan for an "interview" ill get the job. lol, Im guessing the chick just wants to eye me up.
