Ya it sets it apart sure, but the reason you don't see many hybrid swaps in s2000's is because the F-series motor is great. It was engine of the year in the 1.8-2.0L class five years in a row. Had the most HP out of a 4 cyl engine for a decade untill Ferrari beat it in 2010...

I don't have a real answer for this but if I were to guess.... Honda owners and non-honda swaps just don't go together. I mean most people tuning S2K's now were civic owners. Swapping a non-honda engine into a civic would have been a non-possibilty, so they probably just carry that mentality over to S2K tuning.

Second jumping from 140hp / 180hp to 240hp in a light RWD is probably mind blowing enough for most Honda owners.

The LS1 is a whore, it goes where ever it is put... but really people do for a reason. There is no real replacement for that power.

All that being said I am not one to talk as I would never leave the SR20 for anything else in my car.

I like the mono colour thing. Usually older cars look like shit when people try to modern them up by painting the bumper trim and door trim all body colour. But FC's style wise, were so far ahead of the curve, they look great.
