Who's hatin' I understand it fully. It's just a style of modifying. I've seen nothing new I haven't seen on VWvortex almost 10 years ago. And the Air Cooleed Beetle guys were running extreme low offset wheels on very low cars way before then, like the 60's & 70's. Lowrider guys even early then that.

There is no new trends anymore, just different styles. If you want to drive a rusted hood 1990 Civic or Golf with 80hp, dropped way to low to get over speedbumps with mexi-poke you go hard. I'm more about taking something and making it perform better then it did in stock form. Not worse.

I do like they way they look, but I suspect even the owners of said vehicles will move on to something more functional after awhile.

I wasn't talking about you at all, in fact most of the things you said you liked in your earlier post are the things I like.

I then read the rest of your post and I totally agree with what you said.

Hating, on Fatlace and Hellaflush or whatever, is what I get a kick out of. I feel that hating on them is a fad.

haha believe it or not i hate big lifted trucks
but for some reason I love, low(relatively) and wide prerunners

I now base how awesome a car is on how well it could jump a speedbump
For example, awesome car, i love it. However it wouldnt be able to jump a speedbump if the world depended on it

Yeah I saw that on facebook! I like the guy but a little much. I mean I like when some styles cross over to other things but yes, that is too far.
