| How is a normal 13b not worthwhile? Sure you can throw in a big v8 if ya want but that just takes it away from being an rx7. You buy an rx7 for the rotary. If you want a v8 get a camaro or a mustang. | |

| Of course Dustin 300 isn't enough for you. The Curb weight of your car is 3500 pounds. So if you take that into effect you would have a rating of 11.6 hp/lb. Now say my rx-7 has 300 hp. It has a curb weight of 2800 pounds so that gives me a rating of 9.3 hp/lb. So yea 300hp for your car would seem kinda lack luster. For you get the same power to weight ratio as say 300 hp in an rx-7 you would need around 380 hp which is easily done. All i am trying to say is you don't need to go crazy on horsepower to get the same effect. Plus you throw in Gear Ratio's and Tire size and you got a whole different argument.
All i'm saying in the end is it is completely up to the user. Me i love rotary's so thats the route i am taking. I know people who put LS1 in there rx-7's and what ever else, it is all personal preference. | |
