1984 Mazda Rx-7 GSL 12a don't start:(

Just got this car and it turns over but does not start. Any suggestions?

Well my fc just got smoked by a semi and has $7000 damage buy that and put my motor in it problem solved... cant go wrong with a turbo 13B

start with the basics- fuel,spark, etc

try taking out your spark plugs, check to see if they are fouled with fuel. After that block off your fuel delivery with your plugs out and turn the car over. This is to make sure your not completely flooded. If you really need a hand gimme a PM and me and a buddy could probably come take a look and try and get it going.

lol wrong, if you need a hand lemme know and me and m buddy can swing buy, between the 2 of us we have owned 14 rx-7's between the 2 of us. im pretty positive we could figure out your problem.

Well just did a compression test and we have no compression coming to any of any plugs

i agree with corey, just V8 swap it, you know much more about V8s than rotary haha.

Well i know where you can get a full 13b N/A drivetrain if you are looking.

ughhhhhh the only worthwhile setup in my opinion for a 13b is huge coin and along with that comes tuning which can turn into a headache. Not being bias just sayin. But really what do I care what you do with it.

or highly modding a rotary costs huge amounts of money, even if you do all the work on your car. ask me how i know.

Who says you have to highly mod the car? for around a 1500 buck you can pull out a reliable 300hp.
