TSD Rally June 21st

The Old Guys Rally
Presented by the QCMA

Meeting place and start of odometer check will be the Northgate Mall parking lot, north side of Bank of Montreal. Meeting time will be 3 pm. Cars will leave on odo check as group at 3:30. End location to be determined (alcohol will be available and minors will be welcome).

Cost will be $30 for team of 2 members, $35 for a member and non-member team, and $40 for a team of 2 non-members. If you are going to be there, please post here telling us who you and your teammate are, what vehicle you will be driving, and what class you are going to run in.

Classing - Everything I've ever seen has given general guidelines, but said in end it's all at the discression of the organizor. So, being organizor, my discression for car classing is as follows:
non-equiped - Basic car speedometer/odometer, paper and pencil/pen, calculator.
equiped - the sky is the limit. GPS units, computers, specialized equipment, whatever you can find a use for.

If you have any questions, ask and ye shall recieve an answer.

3 checkpoint people are needed. If you are available and willing to help out, please pm me and let me know what you need/would like in terms of checkpoint directions and the such. Checkpoint directions will include fairly detailed directions and distances, GPS co-ordinates, and how we would like you positioned at the checkpoint, along with any special instructions. All checkpoints will be as well hidden as I can make them.

Please, come on out and get a nice tour around the countryside, having some fun. If there is anything I've missed or if you have questions concerning the rally, feel free to ask. Let's go out and have a good time!

is this like rally gravel and needs 4x4 cars?

I wish you could spectate from within the car.

I'd rather do that then sit at a checkpoint all day. Oh well I get a free meal out of it.
