| What are you favorite or "preferred" gas stations to fill up at?
For me I usually fill up at shell or superstore with Premium (only in summer)
Ive never run that ethanol shit that mohawk has, less power and fuel economy. I put it in my Supra once a long time ago, damn thing wouldnt start hardly.

| If it's the place i"m thinking of it's a treaty gas station.. you can also find them all over the highway in manitoba and ontario. Basically you get really really cheap gas there... it's where we usually go (or 7/11) since at treaty places it's like 5c/l cheaper from what i can remember. | |

| Well from my go-kart racing experience, Shell V-Power gas leaves a gold film on all of the engine internals, and it casued premature rebuilds in those motors, so everyone switched to running Esso gas, adn then tehre were no problems. But I personally fill my white car up at a co-op, becasue their premuim gas has the least amount or none of additives(therefore more actual gas), atleast this is what I've been told by many engine rebuilders, and german car specialists. I've also found that all of my vehicles run better on that stuff. But maybe that's just what the german cars perfer? If you want performance, try to atleast go to a station with a reputable name (ie:esso, co-op, Shell)) | |

| I use Esso only. Girlfriend put in Shell one time in my old Elantra and the car put out a check engine light code..O2 sensor.. guess the car didnt like the shell gas So now we just use Esso all the time..sometimes Co-op...the service is awesome.. | |

Using a octane booster to get up to Premium will cost WAY more than just purchasing Premium in the first place. From what a industry analyst has been saying, gas should be at about $1.30 by the long weekend in May.

You realize that when the octane booster states that it raises Octane by ay '5 points' it means .5 octane. Not 5 fullpoints. So NOS 'Racing' formula states 'Up to 7 points' . Adding that to 87 octane fuel will get you up to a whopping 87.7 octane. the difference between 87 and premium in a Civic with a 45 litre tank is about $4.50 when filling a completely empty tank. To get up to 91 Octane you would need about 4 bottles to reach 91 octane. Not to mention octane boosters are known to fuck up your o2 sensor and other shit in your engine if you abuse them.
