| K, so here is the conversation I just had with Cam (aka Moneypits)
Me: Hey is it a good idea to remove your clutch switch? I've heard it's good but also bad at the same time.
Cam: Yeah me too, but personally I would never take it out, just to have the novelty of starting my car without the clutch switch. I would never alter anything on my car that wasn’t done from the factory. It's probably there for a good reason..
LOL $14,000 Civic WHAT THE FUCK???!?!
I'm sorry for wasting your time but he honestly meant what he said and it is the most hypocritical thing I have ever heard and I wanted to share it.

| I didnt think cars needed a clutch switch (neutral safety switch?) to pass safety? I know my dad's rx7 passed without having one. | |

| my car didn't come with one. sure, it might be a good idea, but they wear out, and most people just bypass them anyways once they wear out. I wouldn't take it out if it was still working. Who cares, Cam does hippocritical things all the time. We all do. I'm sick, so I'm being a bitch, sorry | |

They are required to have them only if equipped from the factory(clutch safety switches). Almost all NA cars after 1987 have these. Most JDM cars can get away with this. Neutral Safety Switches are only on automatic transmission cars only and allow the car only to be started in either N or P. ALL JDM CARS THAT ARE AUTOMATIC NEED THIS TO PASS PROVINCIAL SAFETY. | |
