| OK so my cars got the engine swap im sure everyone is aware of, B18b for those of you who dont, now with the swap the fuel pump was never changed so i didnt realize until now im underpowered and my performance could be alot better with added fuel then i can adjust my ratio etc.
Does anyone know how hard of job this is or how much a place charges on labour like this.
Also ill incorporate it on this thread as well, does anyone on here know anything about tuning? If so lemme know i got lots of questions like how i can go about doing tihs cause with a new fuel pump and header and shit i wanna maximize my performance and what not

| I think on your car, you take the back seat out, the bottom cushion that is and should be a panel that you take off and your fuel pump is in there. | |

| You will want to be sure to you run most of the fuel out of the lines, by pulling the fuel pump fuse. After that on hook your battery and if it is anything like nissan it should take like 20 minutes.
Thats as far as I remember.

| It is usually done by book price. So that means if the book lists the job as three hours you pay for three hours regardless if it takes more or less time. So yes there is a hourly rate but that how they determine the total job cost and $65 sounds about right. I don't think they would be charging you for one hour.... it should be more. However, thats just a guess. If you want to do it yourself you can do one of two things.
#1. Go to your car, open the trunk, lift the carpet and tell me if you see a metal plate that has some wires running to it and is bolted down.
#2. Check a honda forum and someone should list a step by step on how to do it.
(#1 is based on nissan S chassis, so it may not be your best bet)

| Unless you're making a significant amount of power that will require you to upgrade your fuel pump , your factory fuel pump is fine. | |

| If I were you, I would check with the honda forums. Most of us will just be guessing at this point.... as I was about two posts before. Research it, there is a lot of info to be had out there. | |
