When: Saturday Jan 17th from 8-9PM
Where: Triffon's pizza on University Park Dr (in the east end)

Topics:
1. Practices, how often, discuss start times, etc
2. Competitions, to give some details and get opinions/advice
3. anything else that comes to mind

We would like to see any and all people interested in drifting in Saskatchewan out to this meeting. It will allow us to see what sort of response to expect for the season and gauge the season on this. It will also allow people to meet each other and get the community closer.

PM me with any questions.

I think I'll come out, don't know if I'd be driving at all this year, car is out of action for the forseeable future.

That's not really the way to support the sport man, we need people for everything from sweeping to people making sure nobody without insurance comes into the pits/onto the track. Every job has a reason and is important to make sure everything flows the way it should. Not wanting to do a certain job and not coming out because of it holds everyone back. Having too many people with that sort of thinking means that events run slower and less seat time for the drivers. I know it sucks that your car is down (mine was down for most of last year), but not coming out and helping out in any way is just not cool. I would actually say that sweeping is one of the most important jobs to making sure people are safe as a dirty track surface makes it difficult to control your car and raises your chances of going off-course and possibly hitting a tire barrier/fence/tree. I'm actually quite surprised that you don't want to help out Richard but expect people to sweep if you were there drifting. Does that seem fair to you? If we all thought in that sort of way, there would be no drifting, or other motorsports in Sask.

You still owe me money for renting my fender roller too btw...being that you seem to think that way instead of just wanting to help others out. Since I need the money, could you get that to me as soon as possible please? Thanks.

I don't know about lessons but I can definitely give you pointers. Come out tomorrow night, introduce yourself and we can talk shop.
