need to rebuild engine on the type r

I guess what is wrong with my motor is that i am not getting enough oil pressure throughout the engine so i am going to have to do a rebuild on it. I would also like to do a stroker kit and bore it out, if anyone could find a good rebuild kit please tell me. The year of the car is a 2000 just so you know.

your prob looking to spend upwards of almost 3 grand with sleeving, rods, pistons, cams etc etc

Its not getting enough oil pressure? replace the oil pump. That shoud fix the problem unless one of yuor oil passages is plugged. jumt my 2 cents

Id take it to another place other than honda to get it checked again just to make sure.

Ya i will probably take it to Cam at CWS just for an extra check but I'm sure its a busty motor...

I was working at honda when your car was there, i didnt even see them check the oil pressure with a guage.

But i could be wrong

because my dad doesn't buy me shit... that is why i don't get a supra... and i am not a fan, i do like them though... no offense. My dad also doesn't know brand new motors like mine as he worked as a mechanic before i was born... yes my dad is old

A motor is a motor. Pistons, rods, block, yea your cams may be on top of your engine, but what ever. usually when people give that excuse, they just don' want to work on the car. Hell, I'm sure most of the 16 year olds on here could figure out an engine. Put everything back the way it came out. Easy peasy. No offense man, but yea

honda engines are the easiest engine to figure out im sure he would know what to do

i think supra's are nice cars i'm just not a big fan of them
