DSLR

i know this is a odd request, looking to borrow someones DSLR for tonight and get some good pics so i can list the car up for sale.

i can give you $$ deposit until returned if you would like or something of the sort.

i would prefer a canon as they are the only DSLR i know how to use.

i doubt someone would lend the camera unless you know them quite well. but im sure someone will do a photoshoot of your car for sure. and for free for sure.

alternative does anyone know if those rental places in regina rent them? i would like to get the ad up before i leave for Iowa for a week on saturday. hence the rushed time frame.

I've checked around and haven't been able to find a place to rent from. (I was just looking for lens')


I'd let you use my camera, as long as I could hang out with it. Like you use it, upload images and i'll take it home.

what camera do you have?

i dont care if the person is there, or if they even take the pictures, i just figured borrowing would be easier in case some people are working or busy and cant get it done before friday which is when i need it done by.

but if your free then that works for me.

I have a 30D with a handfull of different lenses, when do you want to do a shoot? I saw you yesterday on Albert St, but I was rocking a Honda, I was incognito...

Also Don's Photo does indeed rent DSLR's. When you shoot a wedding or live event, you must have back up cameras (2 backups doesn't hurt) and if you don't, you rent!

do you know the cost of renting?

i would prefer to do some day shots and night shots either today or tomorrow, so i would guess start shooting around 5 or 6 and then maybe cruise until dark and then shoot some more.

Do them in the evening. until sunset.

sorry to high jack your thread but, I phoned Don's last week and they said they don't rent len's... so they will rent a camera but not lens'?

Oh yeah I guess I never thought of that. If you don't have any lenses it would be tricky.

Rogue, you should do his shots for him, your stuff is really good! I love doing night shots, it's fun to get the old tripod out.

Went to dons and asked what they rent, guy said they only have some old XTI and maybe a D60. We need a real rental place here.

It's hard with all the broken cars migrating to my house and my 2 little boys. Mostly I just taking shots of the boys, but shot lots of stuff in Banff though!
