Just was wondering who on here has had experience swapping a JDm motor into a USDM Civic or honda in general.

did you run into any problems wiring it in? or was it pretty plug and play?

no eg is sittin in my garage

Wiring wasn't really All that bad... At first i had no idea but thanks to a diagram I found online it as pretty easy. Depending on the engine And obd conversion or not things change as you know. are you staying in the same oBd? The diagram I have is for b16/18 unless you swaping in h22, k20 or f20c haha, it won't work. But I'll try to find it for you. Ephin and quong (spell check) were great help. Smile

There are a couple guys in 306 that can help you with the vtec parts... Also ephin may have something...

swappin motors is all the same regardless if it's jdm or usdm. Just use your stock wiring harness and you should be good. If you have an si all the wiring is pretty much done for you, pretty much plug and play with the exception of a few wires may need to be extended if they aren't already.

so the wiring harness just plugs and plays?

i need a wiring harness! anyone got one for sale?

preferrably a vtec harness

im not doing a knock sensor im doing engine management or a phearable ecu

when i did mine i used my stock ls harness and cut up the gsr one for the like 5 plugs and just ran the wires to the ecu and re pined the plugs going into the ecu and it worked i was supprised how east it was
