Hey all, I'm looking to fill a few positions (tire tech x3, service advisor, outside sales). We are under new management (Me) so lots of changes this year. We are expanding our mechanical program (passenger and medium truck) as well as I'm going to need Custom Wheel specialists.
Looking for people who would like a career in the industry, and who aren't afraid to work. Busting tires is not for the faint of heart (commercial tire and wheel weighs about 200 lbs), but can be very rewarding. Lots of room for advancement and many career paths.
Grade twelve, and some mechanical apptitude is preferred, but I'm willing to train the right people.

ahh man if only this was a 2 years ago, i used to do tires and oil at cantire, i bet your rates are better than 9/hr +10%, i was so worth more than that....

i work at walmart doing tires/oil for 10 bucks an hour. ugh. i need to find a new job..

i feel your pain man, i was working at universal making 10$, while new people were making $10.50.. so i said fuck it and now am unemployed looking for a job Crying or Very sad

maybe i didnt have it that bad, with that 10% i was averaging 14 an hour usually.

We will be looking for apprentices closer to late summer, we are expanding the shop. Five new bays with hoists and all new equipment.
