| its all a fanboy thing. I've used a pc forever and have no complaints about it. IU never get viruses, but I have 2 virus blockers or whatnot. I have used a mac and am not a huge fan, but I'm sure if I took the time it would work just as good. Macs can still get viruses, just there are so few of them, no one takes the time to design a virus for them.
you can get alot more PC laptop for your money than you can with a mac. and by that, I mean more ram, harddrive space and screen size and what not

| in that case buy a mac, very simple (atleast i think) and easy to use. Plus you never have to buy anti-virus software and shit liek that. I have one and really like it! | |

| Macbook it up. Better programs, better software, and your computer is way, way less likely to ever have a virus or anything like that. Only downside is the price, but it'll pay for itself in the long run. I have one, and it's awesome. I mean, even if you don't like running shit through their operating system, download windows, and use it on the mac. | |

| For what you're wanting, go MAC. If you are looking for a word processing, video gaming, internet browsing machine, go for a PC. | |

| Who plays video games on computers? Nerds!
Just get a mac, so much better. I love it for what I use it for, which is mostly media stuff.
Also PC's look stupid and clunky.
Yeah that is right I am all about aesthetics bitches.

SERVED Uhh, yeah, not true. I don't want to turn this thread into one of those typical mac vs. pc arguments cause those always turn out great, but saying your hardware is better in every way is plain out wrong. As for the money factor, yes, my computer was more expensive initially, great job on pointing that out. But for the programs I get and actually have a need for (which aren't available for pc's), along with the security this computer gets, add the known longevity and reliability of macs, I'll pay it.

| Mac is a pretty version of a PC, they both do great things and have flaws. When it boils down, it's user preference PC vs MACResults are kind of cool. Hope this helps. | |

| MAC FTW, I have a Mac Ibook G4, the thing is great, only problem so far is the logic board issue which the G3's and G4's had, but easy to basically bypass. I am planning on getting a newer Macbook when I can afford one, they run great and very very easy to operate. And don't have to be worried about getting a virus from all the tittie sites out there which is always a plus And if you don't like the style of Mac's you can always download windows onto them! | |
