| Alright I am wanting to mount my Sparco seat into the CoreyG powered Schassis as Lucky calls it. I've got the sliding rails off the factory seat and have a few ideas of how I could go about doing this but thought I'd see what others have to say. Here is the rails and the bottom mount seat. | |

Yeah I just realized I didn't offer a whole lot. I'll go grab some measurements.

| The rails that were with the seat originally I didn't wanna touch with a ten foot pole, to actually think he used that and thought the way he mounted it was safe shocks me.
Maybe when Ryan is able to leave his death bed he'd be willing to give me a hand cause this is going to be a pain to get perfect placement I can already tell.

| get some flat bar or even angle Iron and get it welded across between your stock sliders and then drill holes to mount the sparco seat through the flat bar. without seeing it in person that seems like a easy way to tackle it. might need some shimming to get the seat on a more confy angle depending how it sits in there. | |

See that's the thought I had in my mind with a square bar, then raising the rear up with washers so it doesn't feel like i'm slumped down in the rear. Seeing as it is on the sliding rails the only thing I have to take care of is height. One more question I had was would I be wise to get it welded or safety wise could i just mount the square bars on the rails with hefty bolts? the seat was bolted to the rails from the sides with 3-12mm bolts.

| So after taking some measurements I've realized that this thing is going to sit WAY too high due to the bottom mount bullshit. I'm thinking about picking up a side mount bride with the s13 rail, unless there are any other ideas on how I can get this to work. | |

| damn, you beat me to it. How about we trade for my freshly re-appolstered crica-1970's Recaro seat in my BMW? I spent more of appolstering than you did on your seat. as an added bonus, its even reclinable, and tilts forward OMG! Sound like an offer you cannot turn down. | |
