but he told us sr's are tuff an can handle 15 psi on stock internals..

It's definitely rod knock. Didn't look underneath it but I would suspect oil pan damage, most motors shipped on pallets suffer this fate. Kinda sucks when you put money and hard work into something and have it fail. Will have to try talking to jdmsource at a reasonable time of the day and just be very polite and understanding with them

i may be wrong, but i think it may also be slightly dented. Which may or may not have caused the same result in the other engine

Even if you just take off the dented pan and bang the bottom of the pan flat with mallet you should be fine.

wow that sucks hondas are so simple my oil pans beat to shit havent had the slightest of problems threw some paint on it now it looks good to
