friday night drifting

We at Mission::Drift in collaboration with the QCMA are proud to bring you friday night drifting! The ONLY place to find flying FD's and some legal tire smoking fun in the Regina area.

our next event will be August the 15th at the 3 Flags Motorsports Park Kart Track

Important information:
Technical inspection starts at 6pm
Drivers meeting at 6:45pm (mandatory for all drivers)
First car out at 7pm
Event fee: $40
*Event will end when there is not enough light out to continue safely.

Bring out your cars for some fun, All skill levels welcome! bring out your cameras and come specatate!

Nice! I'll def. come out to watch and if my car arrives who knows maybe I'll hop in. How many drivers do you figure will be out there?

How do i get to this place? I never knew there was summin like this here in regina

You head out north of Regina on highway 11 and about a 10 minute drive out it is on the left side of the highway and you exit on the right loop around under a bridge and your there.

cool corey quick reply. it should be a good time to meet a bunch of ppl and watch some action. I got a quick question too. I go a lot to sktoon and i know they have the sir active almost every fri ans sat. but i almost always miss it kuz i get off work late and cant get there on time. Is there anything like it near regina? i mean something happening that often here?

The track mentioned above is actually rather active, you can always go out and spectate or if your feeling sausy you could opt for the $30 entry and take your stab at it. They have usually one or two autox cross races per week plus usually a drift event, I'm sure someone will be able to fill you in about what goes on there more than I.

Next autocross is the 16th or 17th. There are two events that weekend. Corvette Club races Sunday in the afternoon.

would someone be able to video tape the drift event for me... i may not be able to make it and really want to see it

Uh I dont really have a video camera other then digi, but I'll most defiently take pictures and possibly some video clips?

Maybe ill bring out a tripod or steady cam and video tape it

I'm there for sure. Will be doing less media and more helping out. I will participate if I can scrounge up enough cash though....

Last event I believe the last car had it's last lap just after 9pm or so.. I can't remember exactly but it was around that time. If you would be able to leave work an hour earlier, it might be more time well spent. Then again, the drive isn't even too far. If you're just curious to see what kind of cars are out there, or just what to expect in general, it ight be worth checking out, even if you are off work at 8pm.

Have to take into account that last time was also about a month ago, meaning we likely won't have as much light this time around. It was also cloudy that day too. If there are clear skies Friday, I would expect it to go till at least 9:00. Sunset is around 8:15 Friday.

I too will be out on the track helping out. If I had a car with no problems, I would be participating as well. Was so jealous last time.

I'll go watch... maybe after work?

If I had myu wheels ready I would try.... but if someone wants to donate tires?
