| Yeah I also haven't washed my car in about 3 weeks or so
If you look at my cheap ass hubcaps that I bought because they sorta look like my rims ... they kind of have a green tinge to them, I think they were full of salt when I took them off in the spring and never washed them so the salt was starting to eat the finish, oh well only hub caps

| Will the salt affect my paint at all? I know the paint on my car isent great but id like to keep it in best shape I can. I just hate washing the damn thing because my locks freeze up, gas door latch freezes, and because now that its spring it gets dirty within a few minutes.. | |

when i wash my car i take a shammy and take the time to open the doors, hood, trunk, and gas door and dry every crack out very thoroughly. and if your door locks freeze then if you have a spare key stick it in the key hole, before you leave and take it out when u get home.

| Yea i always shammy it down (20$ absorber shammy, highly reccomend). But either way the gas door latch always freezes, and thats not good when you are at E and need gas asap! lol | |

| Doesnt work like that corey, water gets into the cable and feezes it solid, and if i pull to hard on the latch im afraid it will snap.. So I just usually leave it in the garage for couple hours. | |

As long as you keep a good coat of wax or paint sealant on the car your paint will be fine. You say your paint isn't that great? You should have seen the white Saturn I detailed this weekend. Some guy thought taking tree sap off with a scotch brite pad was a good idea I ended up wetsanding the entire car and then laying a 4 stage polish job on it. Fucker came out looking like glass. I took out all the orange peel while I was at it.

I take pride in what I do. I want to be the best in town and I think we have started to gain that reputation after our 1st year in business.
