not that cheap, I meant cheap like 720 plasma, something compatable with HDMI, but anyway I got a deal at Visions on a 50"plasma.

But Plasmas cost like a 1/3 what comparable LED cost. So really you can replace them 3 times for every one LED.

We bought a Sony 52" LED a little over a year ago at Visions. Good guys to deal with, Overpaid for it a bit because it was a Sony 1080p 240hz, but I'm a Sony brand whore, and it talks to my Playstation 3...no really.

Went back a bought my Onkyo home theater from them last year. Highly recommend Visions.

also this is VERY untrue, my 59" samsung PDP plasma has no image retention whatsoever even after playing cod for hours on end.

they have improved ten fold.

Yup, most have built in "anti-burn in" system now. Plasma picture is still nicer in my mind.

the model series has allot to do with it, you cant expect the low 400 series sets to do anything more than make a living room look like a cocaine dealers becuase whoever picked up a 60" for a sick price on boxing day!

I got a 50" plasma in my room ... gaming works great on it and as far as burn in... i have fallen asleep with the tv on a load screen and wake up x amount of hours later and nothing wrong with it. Also plasma does have that stupid shadowing effect lcd/led can have.
