Here is my 1989 Nissan 240sx project car; I bought this car with the intent to over time rip it apart and revamp it while using it as a daily driver. I set my goal to first of all gut the interior followed by ditching all the noise dampening material. To where I am at right now, in the process of sanding the rear hatch area and prep it for paint. Eventually I will be replacing the front fenders, then start the big sand down of the entire exterior then prep it for paint then paint it. I shall take pictures of the process if I remember to.

12LB'S of useless dampening garble!

So far all I've spent on it is the $13 for sandpaper/spray paint. By far the funnest thing to drive.

Hey, Yeah i took a magnet too the fender to see what was actually metal and what was bondo thats about the time i realized its all freaking fiberglass. So what your saying is you could get the fenders to line up perfect?

Tomorrow i hope to get the interior hatch area painted then after that the entire exterior is next on the list.

well im not sure about "prefect" but i can sure do a shit load better than fiberglessing 2 pieces together. he did a shit job of overlaping and everything he touched. im sure i could get it looking almost factory. ive done worse and had it come out looking a million times better..... just look at my car lol. rust bucket *cough* PM me if you wanna talk pricing and what not if ur interested. it would prolly take me a week or 2 if you peel fiberglass off for the most part. thatd be to weld grind smooth and bondo out best possible surface.... and god forbid the hammer and dolly *shudder* either way PM me if you want more info. i should be getting argon tank for my welder this week cheers
