| When I had federals on my car, they wore out in one season (spring, summer, fall). They were cheap, $107/tire. They gripped pretty well for beinh a 205, but had very poor breakaway characteristics, ie, very difficult to tell when they were at the limit of adhesion, and tended to feel pretty greasy from what I can remember of them. and they made no noise when they were spinning. The tread looked pretty BA though.
These were on a sub 2700lbs rwd car. | |
