I would like to see these next to the turbo on a vw 1.8t
After driving my buddies GTO I was blown away at how quickly power came on! Those little bastards hit full boost before I even had the pedal all the way down! Makes me upset when I get in my car and I can put my foot down, make some coffee, take a dump, read the paper and THEN make some boost.

LOL are you sure you're not looking at those TIAL wastegates? The turbo's looks pretty normal sized to me.
Check this out, TD02 Turbo. Came on some of those Japanese Kei cars
I've got a K14 in the garage. It's pretty tiny.

i want these soooooo bad, they are very rare also, since most people wont pay $700 retail for valve covers.
i am honestly contemplated taking all the money i have saved for forced induction and blowing it on a full out N/A build!

N/a is such a waste of time on a 4.6. Too expensive for the hp numbers and Not enough cubes to begin with

i wouldn't be doing it for the HP, i would be doing it so i know it can handle any FI i throw at is with no issues. and have a nasty sounding ported and cammed modular
and 5.1 Litres of displacement is enough as far as i am concerned.
im not going to do it, but i dont think its all that of a bad idea.

[quote="duggyb"]i wouldn't be doing it for the HP, i would be doing it so i know it can handle any FI i throw at is with no issues. and have a nasty sounding ported and cammed modular quote] No, no it most certainly would have issues. Good lucking throwing boost at your 4032 hypereutectic pistons... building a motor for forced induction is completely different than building a performance normally asperated engine. Cam choices, piston choices, ect ect. Some ideas should stay on the inside.
Like I recently thought itd be cool if my car had an oil slick option. Just keep it on the inside.

sorry you are correct i should have stated
" i am contemplating wasting all of the money i have saved for my forced induction setup on building a built N/A more in preparation for my forced induction setup next year"
